Each of Us Reaches the Edge
Each of us reaches the edge.
Some cross it.
Most turn back.
Turning back is easier.
On one side lies the familiar: the comfortable, the expected, the average.
On the other side, possibility begins.
People often believe that crossing the edge is reserved for the gifted, the fearless, or the extraordinary.
It isn't.
The edge is open to everyone.
The only thing that separates us from crossing it is a choice.
Every choice opens a different path.
Every choice changes what becomes possible.
What usually stands between us and the next step is not ability.
It is fear.
Fear of failure.
Fear of uncertainty.
Fear of leaving what is familiar.
Yet remarkable lives are rarely built inside familiar territory.
Crossing the edge does not require certainty.
It requires freedom.
Not the freedom granted by circumstances.
The freedom we grant ourselves, regardless.
The freedom to discover what we are truly capable of.
Most of us have never truly met our limits.
The better question is not:
What are my limits?
It is:
Who created them?
What purpose do they serve?
Do they protect us?
Or do they quietly define the boundaries of a life we never intended to live?
Every one of us has an edge.
Whether we cross it...
is a choice.
The choice to dare.
Dare.
